COUSIN BECKY A "NO-SHOW", OH NO, SAY IT AIN'T SO!

One last point about the Plainfield Area NAACP: they do their job to host regular Candidate’s Forums to give residents an opportunity to hear from the Candidates running for office and ask relevant questions.  Although Councilwoman Rebecca Williams would have you to believe that the NAACP used its influence to promote the Regular Democratic Candidates, (3^rd Ward Councilwoman Rev. Gloria Taylor, 2^nd & 3^rd Wards At Large Councilman Candidate Mr. Charles Eke and 1^st Ward Councilwoman  Candidate Mrs. Diane Toliver), of course she is once again lying.  If she had done her homework, she would realize that “the Forum Moderator was a Republican – Mr. George Gore”!  How’s that for non-partisan behavior!  It appears that once again, Councilwoman Rebecca Williams aka “Cousin Becky”, shot off her mouth with yet another lie!  It’s been said that her spy that attended and was outside taking photos of residents as they entered the Candidate’s Forum didn’t give her all of the information.  Cousin Becky did not have first hand knowledge of how the NAACP’s Candidate Forum was conducted as she and her slate mates “DID NOT SHOW UP”!  Per Cousin Becky, they had another engagement so they would not show up for any part of the Forum.  Residents who wanted to hear from them and ask questions, decided not to support them since they didn’t show up to the Candidate’s Forum which was hosted by this Country’s oldest and most respected civil rights organization.  This was certainly a missed opportunity for the community and the New Democrats.  In fact, one resident said that “the candidates…the new democrats listed on Column ‘E’, stands for ‘embarrassment’, and that they won’t get the support of the people”.
